As of September 29, 2017, Baldwin County Sewer Service has completed the installation and testing of a new main sewer line on County Road 32 in Fairhope. This new line connects the BCSS sewer system on the west side to the east side of Fish River. Therefore, all wastewater from the BCSS customers on the west side of Fish River, or the Fairhope side, is now being transported to the BCSS wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in Daphne off Highway 90 and treated there. Until recently, wastewater from these customers was being transported to and treated at the Fairhope Utilities WWTP.
